On the occasion of World Day for Safety and Health at Work, we would like to highlight our daily commitment to safeguarding the health of everyone who works with us. We care deeply about each and every one of them, which is why we implement a series of measures to protect workplace safety, in full compliance with Legislative Decree 81/08.
We have prepared a company risk assessment document (DVR) and a health surveillance plan with the support of the Prevention and Protection Service (RSPP) and the company doctor, from which instructions, procedures, protocols, and their constant monitoring are derived.
We pay particular attention to checking machinery and tools, which are subject to constant maintenance, and to the adequacy of the work environments, which must be welcoming and promote the psycho-physical well-being of our people. We provide each worker with personal protective equipment to carry out their activities safely and with peace of mind. Finally, we train and empower every worker regarding workplace safety through general and specific training courses, first aid courses, fire safety training, and much more.
Furthermore, for over a year now, we have been dedicated to measures for combating and containing the spread of COVID-19. We have adopted a shared company protocol that includes ongoing sanitization of the premises, smart working with the provision of laptops, work shifts with the formation of defined and identified teams, the availability of sanitizers and surgical and FFP2 masks, ad hoc insurance coverage for employees, and a screening program with rapid tests performed by healthcare personnel every three weeks.
The topic of "workplace safety" is deeply felt by us, and we believe that every single member of our team must be aware of the importance of safety at work, which constitutes both a right and a duty for all.
